Ben Wyse was born in beautiful downtown Burbank, California, and spent the first half of his childhood growing up in Studio City and North Hollywood.  There he was known by his nickname “Casey” as a professional child actor/model who appeared in television commercials, radio, movies, professional theatre and print advertising – although in none that anyone under 40 would remember at this point in time.  His family moved to Texas when he was 10 years old, and his father, Don Wyse, became an accomplished professional character actor, and his mother became the first Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association talent agent in the State of Texas.

Ben has had a varied professional life as an adult by serving in the United States Air Force, and working as an actor, a talent agent, a high school teacher, a university lecturer, and a croupier before entering law school.

Ben has received diplomas from the famous Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, El Centro College (DCCCD), University of Texas at Arlington, and Texas Tech University School of Law.

Ben is an avid reader and greatly enjoys collecting and reading books, but only in the select areas of reference books, languages, religion and apologetics, political economics and strategic forecasting, science fiction and speculative fantasy. Suzanne is a highly-respected and accomplished Vice President of Operations for a Senior Housing Corporation which is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.

Ben has served the community as a volunteer attorney with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program with Legal Aid of North Texas, and continues to the serve the larger community as a Knight of Columbus.

Ben has extensive knowledge of municipal law and has served as an assistant city attorney for nine home rule and general law cities and as special counsel for several other cities in litigation matters.

Ben has also travelled extensively throughout the State of Texas as an attorney and he has appeared in over 120 counties in Texas to personally file lawsuits, obtain ex-parte and show-cause sequestration orders and conduct substitute trustee foreclosure sales.

Now that Ben has joined Pratt Aycock, he is currently focusing on general civil litigation, business and real estate law, wills and estate planning and probate.
