Matthew C. Aycock is a founding member and Managing Partner of the firm. Matthew grew up in a small town in East Texas. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology from Texas A&M Texarkana, Matthew moved to the DFW area. Matthew entered the title industry in 2002 during the subprime boom. During his time as a title examiner, Matthew attended law school at Texas Wesleyan University in the evenings. After graduation, Matthew began working for LandSafe Bank of America, where he managed the licensing and compliance of default title operations throughout all 50 states. Matthew then spent a short year consulting with a startup National Title Company.  After his project was completed, Matthew and Greg Pratt started Pratt Aycock.

Matthew is known for his ability to blend the law and sound business sense to produce results that balance legal protection, profitability, and reasonableness. Clients often praise the quality of the sound business and legal advice they receive. Clients also appreciate Matthew’s ability to connect people with those that can most help them with whatever project they are working on.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys baseball, golfing, and spending time with his family.
